We are excited to announce a new option now available for order on the un-tempered, electric SCR or indirect fired IBT modular series line of make-up air units. All five sizes of the mixing box are now available with either MERV 8 or MERV 13 integral filters. This option will help in reducing the length and weight associated with the additional V-bank section previously needed to accommodate filtration in an application requiring mixing boxes. NOTE: This configuration of filters will not work when the mixing box return is on the roof of the mixing box.

When a filtered mixing box is needed, the intake options can now be selected as:

• Screened intake for a simple sloped hood with bird screen
• Intake hood with EZ kleen filters or EZ foam filters for an added level of filtration prior to the filtered mixing box
• No intake for indoor units where you are supplying the filtered mixing box in the selected options as shown below

For applicable units, when a mixing box is chosen, the integral filters will be shown under the heading ‘Supply Fan Filters’. The associated static loss will be shown next to the selection.
